    How to play

Goal: at the end of your turn, your opponent has pawns in only one era.

    1. Use your focus era. The gold frame shows it. Pick one of your pawns there. If you have none, skip to step 3.
    2. Take up to two actions with that pawn: move one square orthogonally, travel forward one era to the same square, or travel back one era to the same square. Travel needs an empty square.
    3. Move your focus token to one of the other two eras. That is where you play next turn.
    • Push: moving into a pawn shoves it (and anything behind it) one square.
    • Squish: a pawn pushed past the edge of the board is removed.
    • Paradox: if two pawns of the same color are pushed into each other, both vanish.
    • Travel back: costs a pawn from your reserve, which stays behind as a copy. No reserve, no backward travel.

Fan-made version of the base rules of That Time You Killed Me by Peter C. Hayward. Where the tutorial was unclear, this version lets you stop after fewer than two actions.
